Optix 2023 Feature Roundup

As we conclude another year at Optix, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on all of the new features launched, resources created to help you succeed, and exciting updates for our community. 

From the white-labeled app builder to our all new Notifications, we’ve added a number of features to enhance the experience of your members, increase flexibility, and give you more control over what you can do within Optix. We also started an online community to connect coworking and flex space operators, we launched a podcast, and more!

Here’s a recap of the many exciting Optix updates showcased in 2023.

Design your very own white-labeled app

The white-labeled app builder was one of the many ways we improved the admin experience this year. With the white-labeled app builder, you can design your very own fully customizable app that perfectly reflects your unique brand identity, right in the admin dashboard.

This feature is a game-changer if you want to elevate your brand and provide a seamless user experience for your members. 

Say hello to Apple Pay and Google Pay! 

You asked, and we listened! Users can manually pay for any invoice in Optix via our native Stripe checkout integration using Apple Pay and Google Pay. 

Upgrade your payment game by offering your members an entirely new payment method, while providing them with more flexibility and freedom to choose how they want to pay. 

Users can pay for invoices with iDEAL, Giropay, Sofort, and more

We added several new payment methods including Bancontact, BECS, EPS, Giropay, iDEAL, Przelewy24, SEPA, and SOFORT! 

Your users will now be able to pay for their invoices with these payment methods, providing them with more flexibility and your business with more options to collect your payments on time.

Notifications to help you better prioritize your daily tasks

Notifications are quickly becoming a favorite feature of our clients, and for good reason. They deliver vital updates on everything you need to know in your organization, making you more efficient and more informed. From overdue invoices to issues reported, Notifications will show you everything you need to know at a glance.

This highly requested feature allows you to focus on what’s truly important in your daily operations. Read more about Notifications, available to all Optix clients, in this blog.

Tap a button to unlock your Kisi-enabled doors in app

Our Kisi integration is beloved by many of our clients, and this year we worked to make it even better. 

With this enhancement, users can tap a button to unlock your Kisi-enabled doors in their mobile app. This feature is available for clients with both the white label app, as well as the Optix branded app. Filter your doors by location, floor of your building, and more.

New and improved Settings

We also improved the admin experience with an all-new look and feel for Settings!

Settings are thoughtfully grouped into categories, simplifying navigation and making it easier to find exactly what you’re looking for. Each setting is also accompanied by a brief and simple description, providing you with upfront assistance and handy Pro Tips on how to configure Settings for your unique business needs.

With this enhanced design, you’re empowered to find all the information you need right at your fingertips. 

New and improved navigation experience

We also launched a brand new navigation experience, a streamlined and intuitive look that ensures you’re able to get to where you need to go quickly. 

Easily access all of the primary areas within your dashboard, including:

• And more!

This update is all about making your journey in Optix smoother and ensuring you can always get to where you want to go.

Support videos in the Admin Dashboard

At the beginning of the year, we added educational videos embedded in the Admin Dashboard that walk you through key features and concepts in Optix such as Users, Resources, Resource Types, and more. 

Navigate through the tabs in your Admin Dashboard to watch these videos and keep an eye out for new videos in the future. 

You can even customize the look and feel of your QR codes, including your logo, color, styling, and more. 

Guided dashboard experience for new Optix clients

Our goal is always to make our platform as simple and intuitive as possible.

This year, we launched a guided dashboard experience for new Optix clients. You can now easily onboard onto the platform with a set of onboarding checklists when you’re new to Optix. Reach out to your dedicated Customer Success Manager to learn more.  

We launched the We Run Flex podcast

The We Run Flex podcast, hosted by Optix CEO and Founder Kia Rahmani, features  enlightening conversations with industry experts and thought leaders in the world of coworking and flexible real estate. 

With these conversations, we hope to empower you to succeed in building a successful business in the coworking industry. Explore the We Run Flex podcast on your favorite listening platform. 

We created our We Run Flex Facebook community!

We also launched the We Run Flex community, a hub for you to connect with and learn from fellow coworking and flex space leaders. You can ask questions, share ideas and insights, and build your network of experts to help you find success in the world of flex.
