Whats new in Optix: July 2017

This month is all about mobile features! From being able to report an issue with a few taps, to allowing your members to select and pay for a plan in-app, we have some exciting updates to share… and of course, more to come!

For managers and your members: Report an Issue

Whats new in Optix: July 2017

Wonderful news: ‘Report an Issue’ is live! The next time a member finds that a chair leg in the conference room is broken or that the printer has run out of ink, they can whip out their phone and send off a report to you within seconds. This allows your members to report issues to you as soon as they come across them so you and your team can jump into action to help get the issue resolved.

For managers: Require your members to automatically pay their invoices

If you choose to enable this new functionality, your members will be required to add a credit card onto their account and will be automatically enrolled in auto-pay. This means no more missed charges, hounding a member to pay their overdue invoice, or any surprises come the end of the month. If you choose not to require auto-pay, your members will continue to have the option to choose how they pay for their invoices (either auto-pay or manual).

For managers: Customize which fields your members can fill out in their profile

Whats new in Optix: July 2017

Your members can enter all kinds of information on their Optix user profile, everything from a profile photo and phone number to twitter handles and a link to their Facebook profile. Up until now, it was up to the user to determine what kinds of information they wanted to add to their user profile within Optix. Now, you can choose the types of information that your members have the option to fill out.

For managers and your members: Allow new and prospective members to purchase a plan in-app (Coming soon)

Whats new in Optix: July 2017

While it’s not quite ready for release yet, we can’t wait another minute to tell you about the newest feature we’ve been hard at work on: the ability for new and prospective members to onboard themselves by purchasing a plan when they log into your venue’s mobile app for the first time. Soon, you’ll have the option to allow prospective clients to choose between a few plans you’d like to make publicly visible and available to first-time visitors looking to get started as new members at your venue. They’ll add their credit card, select their plan, and pay for their prorated first month upfront.
